When we started Us On Film, we saw a gap in the New Zealand wedding and events market. Couples and hosts could either hire a professional videographer or go completely DIY, with no middle ground. We wanted to create a service that gave people the best of both worlds: nostalgic camera hire and professional editing, all in one simple package.

Our kits include everything you need to capture your event — vintage or modern camcorders, 35mm film cameras, batteries, equipment, cases, full detailed guides, memory cards and shipping both ways. Once the event is over, you send the kit back and we handle the rest. Your footage and photos are edited, developed and delivered as highlight videos, high-resolution scans and keepsakes.

This makes Us On Film the first service of its kind in New Zealand. We’re not here to replace photographers or videographers. Instead, we offer an affordable, candid and nostalgic alternative that feels more like a home movie than a staged production.
