Booking & Shipping Policy
This Booking & Shipping Policy outlines how bookings, payments, delivery, returns, and communication work when hiring from Us On Film. This policy operates alongside our Terms of Service.

Bookings can be made:
Via our online booking or enquiry forms using the information provided, or
By email enquiry, where details are confirmed in writing by Us On Film
All information submitted via booking forms or email must be accurate and complete. Us On Film is not responsible for issues arising from incorrect information supplied by the customer, including dates, delivery addresses, or contact details.
A booking is only confirmed once:
A 50% non-refundable deposit has been paid, and
Written confirmation has been issued by Us On Film.
All bookings are date-specific and subject to availability.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking date.
The remaining 50% balance is invoiced one month before your hire date and must be paid in full before any equipment is dispatched.
Customers may choose to pay in full upfront if preferred.
All invoices are issued only via HNRY and/or Xero.
Failure to pay the final balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking without refund.

Us On Film operates primarily as an online and courier-based service.
All bookings, confirmations, and support are handled via:
Email
Online forms
Written digital communication
We do not offer phone bookings or on-demand phone support unless specifically arranged in advance.

While Us On Film operates from a physical office, this location is not open to the public.
We do not accept walk-in customers
Equipment cannot be collected or returned in person
All hires are fulfilled via courier only
Any in-person access must be pre-arranged in writing and is at our discretion.

All equipment is shipped to the delivery address provided by the customer at the time of booking or confirmation.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure:
The delivery address is correct, complete, and accessible
Someone is available to receive and sign for the parcel where required
Any delivery instructions provided are accurate
Us On Film is not responsible for delays, misdelivery, or loss caused by incorrect or incomplete address details supplied by the customer.

All hires include a prepaid return courier label.
Customers may choose to:
Arrange a courier pickup from their address, or
Drop the parcel at an NZ Post location (or equivalent courier partner where applicable)
It is the customer’s responsibility to:
Pack all equipment securely using the supplied packaging
Ensure the return parcel is lodged or collected by the due return date
Retain proof of lodgement or pickup where available
Return transit time does not extend the hire period. If equipment is not returned by the agreed return date, a late fee of $50 NZD per day, per hire and cam will apply until the equipment is returned in full.
Late fees apply regardless of reason, including failure to arrange pickup or delayed drop-off.
All returns must be sent using the prepaid return courier label provided with your hire.
The correct return address is clearly listed on the supplied return label. Returns may be directed to either our office or secure home return address, depending on operational requirements.
If the return label is:
Lost
Damaged
Unclear
Missing
You must contact Us On Film immediately so we can issue a replacement label.
Customers must not guess or assume the return address. Sending equipment to an incorrect address may result in loss, delay, or additional fees, for which the customer will remain responsible.

Courier services are selected at Us On Film’s discretion based on location, availability, and reliability.
While we may take customer preferences into account where possible, final courier selection remains at our judgement.
Delivery may require a signature upon receipt. Failure to be available to receive the parcel does not constitute a delivery failure or grounds for refund.

Responsibility for the equipment transfers to the customer once the parcel is marked as delivered by the courier.
If a parcel is left unattended at the delivery address at the customer’s request, or due to courier authority to leave, the risk remains with the customer.

Us On Film ships to New Zealand and Australia.
For international bookings, customers are responsible for:
Allowing sufficient time for customs clearance
Understanding and complying with local import regulations
Any duties, taxes, inspections, or delays imposed by customs or border authorities
Delays caused by customs or international transit do not constitute grounds for refunds, extensions, or compensation.

Customers are fully responsible for all equipment during the hire period.
Loss, theft, or damage may result in:
Repair costs
Replacement charges
Additional fees if the kit cannot be rehired
