• Us On Film provides camera hire + editing, not traditional videography

• Footage is guest-filmed and outcomes vary

• We do not guarantee specific moments, angles, or audio

• Bookings are date-specific

• A 50% non-refundable deposit secures your date

• The remaining balance is due one month before your hire date

• Equipment will not be shipped until paid in full

• Equipment is shipped to the address you provide

• All returns must use the supplied return label

• If a return label is lost, contact us do not guess the address

• Late returns incur $50 NZD per day, per cam

• You are responsible for the equipment while it’s in your care

• Loss, theft, or major damage may require full replacement payment

• Gear protection (if added) covers minor or accidental damage only

• Equipment is supplied charged and ready

• You are responsible for charging batteries and managing storage

• Flat batteries or full storage are not equipment faults

• Final videos and raw footage are delivered digitally via a download link (e.g. Dropbox or similar)

• Download links are provided for temporary access only

• We do not permanently store customer footage

It is your responsibility to:

• Download all files within 30 days of delivery

• Save and back up your footage

After 30 days, files may be deleted without notice. Us On Film is not responsible for lost files once the download period has passed.

We recommend downloading and backing up your files as soon as possible.

• Editing style is based on our examples and your Video & Delivery Form

• We do not offer creative revisions

• Minor fixes (e.g. names, titles or wrong music) may be corrected

• Editing begins once all equipment is returned.

• Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary during peak periods.

• We do not guarantee inclusion of specific moments, people, or audio.

• Minor timing or stylistic differences are not grounds for refunds or revisions.

• Unless you opt out in writing or by selecting this option on our video and editing form, selected footage may be used for our marketing

• Opting out does not affect your booking or pricing

• Where marketing and promotional use is permitted, Us On Film will:

  • Only share short excerpts, clips, or still frames

  • Never upload or publish full-length videos

  • Never share full raw footage or unedited files

  • Never publish footage the customer has specifically requested not be shared

  Marketing content is used solely to showcase the style and nature of our service and is selected at our discretion.

  If you have specific moments, people, or sections of footage you do not want used, you may notify us in writing and we will respect these requests.

• You can travel overseas with our gear but you are responsible for airline, airport, and customs rules

• Film damage from X-rays and battery misuse is not covered

• Travel-related loss or confiscation may require replacement payment

• Courier delays, public holidays, or customs holds are outside our control

• These do not qualify for refunds or extensions

• All dates, times, and currency are based on New Zealand time (NZST/NZDT)

• Bookings cannot be transferred without written approval

• Full Terms of Service apply

• The person making the booking confirms they are authorised to book on behalf of all participants.

• The booking contact is the primary point of communication unless otherwise agreed.
