Step by step
How it worksOur process is as relaxed as the films we make. From booking to the big day, here is exactly what to expect:
❋ 1. Lock It InFill out our online booking form to secure your date. We will confirm your booking by sending you an invoice with your selected payment choices.
❋ 2. The Creative BriefYou’ll receive a Creative Brief where you call the shots! Pick your music genre and choose your editing style. You can fill this out now or wait until after you’ve filmed it just needs to be completed before the cam gets back to us.
❋ 3. Final Payment & PrepOne month before your event, you’ll receive your final invoice. Once this is paid, we get straight to work charging, cleaning, and prepping your gear. Note: Final payment is required before we can ship your goods out!.
❋ 4. Shipping & ArrivalYou’ll receive an NZ Post email with tracking info as soon as it’s on its way. Your cam will arrive 2–3 days before your event/wedding. Have a play with it, get a feel for the buttons, and even start recording early if you like!
❋ 5. Capture Everything!Hand the cam to your mates, your mum, pass it around the dance floor, and capture the "I dos" and all the messy, beautiful bits in between. Film absolutely everything you possibly can.
❋6. Easy ReturnWhen the party's over, simply retape the original box your gear came in (or a similar-sized one). Stick the pre-paid return label we provided right over the old one. Drop it off at your closest NZ Post store on the next business day, or use the tracking number to book a courier pickup straight from your front door. Easy as.
❋ 7. The Final CutOnce the cam is back with us, we hit the edit suite! We’ll organise your footage, work our magic, and within 1–2 weeks, you’ll receive your final film, raw footage and a visual social media reel delivered digitally. Ready for you to watch, share, and relive forever
